Looking down on Aalesund
I am writing this from Aalesund in Norway, where I have come to attend the annual InnoTown conference – an annual gathering in this spectacular location to get an inspiration injection (claim the organisers). The photo was taken at 5.30 this morning after I climbed the 418 steps to the top of the local lookout.
As part of my day job as CEO of The Confidere Group, I try to spend a few weeks each year ’seeing the future’ – going to conferences, talking to thinkers, leaders, entrepreneurs, … The trip to Norway is part of the ongoing research into trends and weak signals. In that context I will be interested to hear what emerges about our use of technology, or the reverse – technology’s use of us!
